A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There are books that once you’ve finished them, you don’t give them a second thought. Then there are books that will leave you thinking about the characters, the plot, and wonder just how the author is going to finish the next book.

Sarah J Maas is one of those authors that writes books which leave you thinking.

Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the Court of Thorn and Roses series and is brilliantly written. Her characters grow so much in this book and I really like how we see the progression of PTSD in the main characters after the events in the first book. It is one of the things that makes the story feel real.

Feyre is a bloody great character to get to know. she isn’t simpering or too strong. she has her faults and strengths and we see a lot of her character as Rhys makes good on the bargain they made Under The Mountain.

I can’t stop thinking about the book and it only took me a day to read it. Seriously, this is a great author and if you haven’t read any of Sarah’s books – then go out and buy it. Now.
